I’m very excited to have NTS and Margate Radio DJ Paul Camo as our Special Guest this month. Incase you don’t know once a month I invite a Special Guest to pick a favourite track of theirs. Paul has picked American jazz multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateed’s 1963 ‘Love Them From Spartacus’ as his Song of the Week. When asked why he said “It’s beautiful and uplifting and it brings me joy.”
When drawing Yusef I tried to ignore the extra pressure I always feel when doing the Guest Pick portraits andstay in the Procreate flow I’ve been enjoying so much lately. Hopefully I managed to keep it at bay enough to work out in the end.
